Everyone knows that nothing goes better together than movies and ice-cream. They’re a match made in heaven! So, when we were tasked with mass sampling for our client So Delicious Dairy Free, we decided there was no-where better to hand out free ice-cream samples than at Sydney’s drive-in cinema sensation, Mov’in Car.
Over a period of 4 weeks, we sampled more than 7,000 ice-creams to excited movie go-ers, encouraging them to try the product and share their experience on socials.
In addition to this in-person sampling, So Delicious Dairy Free was also advertised as an official sponsor for the event. On-site advertising consisted of a 30-second advertisement before each show, as well as a branded entrance arch, banner and food container.
The activation was also broadcast on Channel 9, where So Delicious was highlighted as a Mov’in Car sponsor alongside Peugeot, The Four Seasons and more.
Overall the sampling activation was a huge success. A big thank-you to Sinaed and Maxi for hustling hard and being our official ice-cream samplers!
