Our Expectations of our Associate Creative Director

You’ll be shaping our Creative Team at a time of exponential growth. So, you’ll be an Associate Creative Director who is looking to make a difference and have fun while doing it.

news is not a chore, it’s what you naturally do. You are self-motivated and able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a multi-skilled team, while also being able to lead a creative team of five to ensure you achieve your daily and weekly tasks.

The outcome of performing this role successfully will be:

  • Ensure the agency delivers best in class creative campaigns and content
  • Own and strengthen client relationships with key clients Amazon, GoPro, Red Balloon and Tourism Australia
  • Inspire our diverse team of creatives to deliver best in class and ultimately award winning campaign ideas.
  • Be hands on especially in pitches.
  • Build, manage and support our high performing teams.

The Bread & Butter of being our Associate Creative Director

  • Provide senior creative direction to the agency across all disciplines
  • Senior creative counsel on new business proposals and help drive business development across the agency
  • Inspire creative teams to deliver best in class and ultimately award-winning creative campaign ideas.
  • At least 6 years’ experience in a well-established creative role
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty, get stuck-in and lead by example
  • Forever and optimist, you lead change and have an eye for creative that works
  • Contribute to strategic development of a well-defined creative brief 
  • Deliver high quality content with experience in a high-turnaround deadline-based environment
  • Experience on shoots with high profile talent
  • Experience building teams and resourcing projects
  • Must possess a deep understanding in related creative tracks: design, interactive development, content development, experiential
  • Generate useful, usable ideas across all existing and emerging digital platforms
  • Set creative direction and offer hands-on guidance throughout client team projects
  • Strong shooting experience, ability to shoot stills, and be confident working independently on location
  • Proficient to expert in: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects desired.
  • Proven ability to deliver on schedule and above expectations
  • Creative thinker and innovator
  • Mentoring junior creative staff to build the next generation of creative thinkers
  • Portfolio must have examples of cross-discipline creative social led campaigns
  • Confidence and experience to creatively lead new business pitches. Responsible for ideas and creative work, and competently present pitches
  • Being knowledgeable of agency structure, functions, and processes; effectively able to interact with other teams and utilise where appropriate
  • Developing a full knowledge of our offering, vision, and values; as well as a solid understanding of clients’ business and industry
  • Able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current clients to ensure we meet and exceed our clients’ expectations
