Restaurant Launch on Socials & PR

October – December 2021

Two Palms was briefed to head up the PR and socials for Sasso Italiano, Brisbane’s new contemporary 70’s inspired neighbourhood Italian bar and trattoria serving unforgettable Italian eats alongside a natural wine and rich Negroni menu. But Sasso isn’t just a restaurant. Just like every Italian table, the heart of Sasso is that it’s a place that allows people to reconnect and rendezvous over great food.
Social and PR developed a campaign that was centred around storytelling and bringing the Sasso experience to life. 
PR developed a comprehensive media relations strategy and press office that focused on sharing the Sasso experience. This included developing media material, assets and securing editorial placement across Brisbane news as well as national food and lifestyle media publications. We also provided Brisbane media with an exclusive first-look at the restaurant, offering them an intimate dinner with their family or friends prior to launch so they could experience Sasso for themselves. 
Social focused on developing an aesthetic and brand storyline for Sasso, conveying the restaurant’s TOV and overall ethos. In collaboration with the restaurant’s branding and design team, we created a social feed that visually elevates what Sasso stands for and what they offer as part of their dining experience.
