Are Australian’s Losing Their Love For Travel?
For our client Club Med, we hosted the travel panel “Are Australians losing their love for travel?” ahead of World Tourism Day to discuss the impact of the extension of the travel ban for the travel industry. To foster awareness among the international community about the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value, the travel panel tackled topics evolving around the inconveniences the travel ban extension has caused, how international travel bubbles might revive travel again and the Australian sentiment towards travelling in the future.
Alongside Rachael Harding, General Manager of Club Med Australia, a number of industry heavyweights joined the panel: Richard Jones, Regional Head of Marketing & Sales Southwest Pacific Region of Cathay Pacific, Susan Coghill, CMO of Tourism Australia and Sam Evans, Creative director & travel content creator. With grand media exposure and an engaged community that asked hundreds of questions, the panel brought some clarity into the questionable travel environment we currently find ourselves in.
